Things we get up to when we're not training

50km Walk for mental health Lifeline WA
This would have to be up there for some of the special things I have done in life for others, together the four of us from left, Ayman, Muhammad, Mick and myself set ourselves on the journey of walking non stop 50km from Coogee to our gym in Malaga. It was no easy task; however the four of us came together and completed it as one. All while sharing an important message to those who were following our journey and that was to share the services of LifeLineWA, here to assist us West Australians in crisis support and suicide prevention calls.

Together with the amazing support of friends, family and members at Competitive Boxing & Fitness we raised $8515 for LifeLineWA. The enormity of this was brought to our attention when meeting Karen from LifeLineWA to present the cheque to her on behalf of our fundraiser last week. We can humbly share with everyone who supported us that this event was the single largest community donation received by LifeLineWA since COVID.

These funds will fund the complete cost of training two new crisis support workers in Perth’s office to help assist our fellow Australians. Many of LifeLineWA’s support workers have been answering crisis calls for up to 10 years, now we can only imagine how many phone calls our funded support workers will answer to support our fellow Australian’s.

We thank you so very much from the bottom of our hearts for supporting us in being able to help those who need help!

Ty, Mick, Ayman & Muhammad.
